Specifications

The electric iMIEV made its public appearance at least two years ago, and we heard plahera of iMiEV rumors and "said to be true" specifications, including that it will be powered by solar panels on its roof, that it will use wind energy - with wind turbine behind the front grill, and that its range will be 120+ miles… 

The facts that are undisputable are that iMiEV uses one electric motor to power the rear wheels (It is also true that Mitsubishi's electric vehicle efforts were first focused on using in-wheel motors, but Mitsubishi scrapped that idea in the current version of the iMiEV, without giving explanation - I guess technology just is not mature yet).
