In last year there was a lot of talk about air car. It turned out that tho whole concept is rather old - and it was patented.. But in 2006 patent expired, and this opened doors to marketization. Air car runs on compressed air, which is available on all gas stations (and can be refilled at home). It uses tanks made from carbon, so even if they are damaged, they do not explode. Running cost of such a car should be less than $2 per 100 miles. Reach of such a car should be around 200 miles (300 km).
