Pure Electric Car

Pure or 100% only electric car, has zero emission footprint. Pure electric car (electric car) runs on batteries. GM's EV1 was first mass produced electric car, and on the other side of the world Tatra and Zebra are also producing some models that run solely on batteries… At start of 2008 an European company called Think started producing small two-seater great for city use, and in USA a startup company called Tesla motors is at the same time delvering sporting 100% electric carsto the first customers…

Characteristic for electric cars is very low maintentnce, as electric motor needs no oil, no grease, no service… The only think that decreases through time is battery, and with new technologies as Lithium Ion and Nickel Metal Hydrid, even these boundaries are falling… Typical drive range of 2008 electric car is over 100 miles (150 kilometers), with top-end models doubling or even tripling it.
